PAC Screen Workshop 1 (SWS1)
This 6 week evening course (Tuesdays) is designed for those actors, filmmakers and writers who have had some training and/or may have experience but not necessarily in film and TV. It is not a beginners course, but as with all PAC Screen Workshop courses is advanced. However it will introduce participants to the unique requirements of working in film and television.

Tutors are current industry practitioners so you learn what is relevant and required to successfully increase your skills in this area. As well as learning theories which are particularly relevant to screen such as Stanislavski's system, participants put these into practice in exercises which are videoed and shown back and on these constructive feedback is given. The 'tricks of the trade' are imparted. Also terminology and procedures used on set is de-mystified so that actors, directors and writers gain a greater understanding of each others' craft and increase their confidence in working together to create memorable screen drama.

SWS1 is a pre-requisite for enrolment in SWS2 because it sets up the premise on which these highly successful workshops was founded. Courses often fill purely by word of mouth and waiting lists for entry are common so don't delay if you are considering enrolling.
