"Thankyou very much for letting me participate in PAC Screen Workshop 1. The priceless conventions you taught me will never be forgotten, as they are the fundamentals in making a successful film. I now have a stronger network system and I look forward to working with my fellow PAC friends and also you. See you next semester at PAC."

Ben Young

"I came out of class feeling inspired. It’s amazing, you know… I’ve been doing PAC Screen Workshops fairly constantly for going on four years, and I’m still learning stuff that I know is making me a better film maker.”

Ben is a writer/director, WA Young Film Maker of the Year 2005 currently directing and writing for TV series "Trapped"

Chris Watson

"PAC Screen Workshop provides the most vibrant meeting & learning place for independent WA film makers I know. By participation in these now legendary courses I was opened to many techniques upon which I continue to base my directorial approach. It is an environment that breeds a prolific, motivated attitude, guiding participants to output their ideas with great confidence and understand core aspects of screen performance. If Annie ran them here in LA I'd still go! They're mintox!"

Chris is a director/writer whose first feature film 'The Rainbow Tribe' started on the US festival circuit this month and is now participating in 5 US festivals. In the first festival it’s nominated for 5 awards, including Best Pic, Best Dir, Best Sound, Best Supporting actor for Grayson Russell and Outstanding Cast overall.

Claire Vander Bloom

“I remember sitting in my first PAC class with sweaty palms. It was a big step for me to take control and pursue my love of acting. I realized very quickly that I’d found the safest place to begin to play. Working with Annie made me realize that acting is a profession to be proud of. She made me see that if I was to commit to a life of being an actor I must never stop practicing my craft. Actors should continually desire to hone their skills. PAC Screen Workshops were ideal in helping me look at the craft from different angles and reminded me to keep the fun alive.”

Claire is an actress and recently completed Speilberg’s “Pacific” and in film “The Square” and "Rush"

Elissa Down

"PAC Screen Workshops are a great way to meet like-minded film practitioners who are just as passionate as you are about making films. I met Jimmy (co-writer of The Black Balloon) in a Romance and Seduction series of PAC Screen Workshop 2. It was the beginning of that collaboration. These workshops are invaluable for those emerging in the industry."

Elissa wrote and directed The Black Balloon

Emma Booth

"PAC Screen Workshops really helped me develop as an actor. They taught me the tools I needed to access my emotions and how to develop different characters...I'm so thankful I found out about PAC Screen Workshops when I did. Working with Annie Murtagh-Monks and Ross Hutchens was a true blessing and I would recommend PAC to anyone who is serious about getting into the film industry."

Emma Booth – international actor and winner of Best Supporting Actress at AFI Awards for "Clubland".

Henry Inglis

"As a writer/director, it's easy to lock yourself away with your work, leaving you to suffocate your film idea under the weight of your own self indulgence. It's essential to understand how crucial it is to take your ideas out of the room and explore all the possibilities. The most important thing the pac workshops have done for me, besides the supportive network, the friends I've made, or the over-inflated ego its given me... The most important thing is that through the workshops I've discovered what I really want to say in film, and it has helped me find my voice as a film-maker. Cheers PAC!"

Henry is a director/writer (twice won PAC's annual Stanislavski Award)

Jamie Hansen

"Just wanted to thank you for the great courses you put on. I've just completed SW1, and it far exceeded my expectations. I look forward to doing SW2 and more. As an actor who resides in Perth, I thought I would have to look to Sydney or Melbourne to further my training. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover we've got it right here in Perth. Working with directors and writers as well as other actors, you get an invaluable understanding of the WHOLE process, which in turn enhances your own performance and equips you with the skills required to make it in this competitive industry. For the price, I very much doubt you'll find a better value for money course anywhere."

Jamie ia an actor.

Maurise Maclou

"The skills, confidence and amazing networks I gained attending PAC Screen Workshops have been invaluable in the development of my acting career. I have been working in Los Angeles in film and television for the last 4 years and I could never have imagined venturing to the USA without the strong skills and foundation PAC provided me. Working with Annie is an amazing experience; she has such a vast understanding of the film industry and shares her knowledge, insight and enthusiasm in every workshop."

Maurise is an actor.

Maziar Lahooti

"I reckon pac screen workshops are essential for directors to spot and work with a whole heap of the up and coming perth acting talent. The workshops serve as great practice for sharpening your skills as a director without the normal pressures that can distract you when you are actually shooting for real. You can try out all your crazy ideas you’re not completely sure about as a test run."

Maziar is a director recently accepted into AFTRS Graduate Diploma in Directing

Melanie Camp

" I did a couple of PAC Screen Workshops a few years back and since then have moved from Perth to Sydney and now I live in Los Angeles. In Sydney I did various short courses but they were a poor second to PAC. I'm currently doing classes at TV1 in LA. But still, I am yet to find anything that's as good as PAC. PAC Screen Workshops are perhaps one of the best set of classes I've taken. They're hands-on and offer good networking. Having seen "what's out there" in a couple of other parts of the world I can quite confidently say that PAC Screen Workshops are one of the best concepts in the world and I'm glad I had the opportunity to do a couple.

Michael Bond

"I started the workshop to learn the language of acting, to collaborate, to make mistakes ... and i made some shockers. such a gift to explore, create and play every week without attachment to outcome. after five years in Hollywood i'm yet to find anything that comes close. my cast on my recent film - some with decades of experience, some with none - remain eternally grateful. so do I."

Michael is a director/writer recently completed first feature "Passengers" in LA

Theresa Huska

"When I was an actor the PAC Screen Workshops were an invaluable way to keep learning my craft and meet and work with young directors like Elissa Down. Now as an agent who is invited to guest lecture it is a fabulous way to access a new pool of actors and watch their work."
